Season Information

    Where are the games played?  Tod Park in Girard Ohio
   
    When does the season begin?  August 1st

    When does the season end?  Mid October
   
    When is practice?  Each team will have (2) 1 hour practices the weeks of August
    1st and 15th.  There are no league scheduled practices once the games begin.

    When are the games?  Starting Saturday August 20th each team will have one game           during the week and one Saturday game.  Each team will play 16 games.

Team Composition

    How are teams assigned?  Teams are assigned by a blind draw.  We try to make sure         they are as even as possible.
   
    Can I request that my child plays with another child? No we have decided to not           take requests this season because of the overwhelming number of requests we receive          each year. It is not possible to honor all requests so to be fair we will not be honoring any     requests.

    Can I request my child to have a certain coach? No we have decided to not take        requests this season because of the overwhelming number of requests we receive each         year. It is not possible to honor all requests so to be fair we will not be honoring any             requests.   

    Can my child play up an age group? You must submit a letter to the Board with the         reasons why you want your child to play up. We will then decide on a case by case basis         after consulting with the insurance company.
   

apparel questions

    What is provided by the league?  Jersey, Shorts and Socks

    What do I need to provide for my child?  Soccer spikes (no front spike) and                 shinguards. Shingurads must be covered by socks at all times.

    Can I put my child's name on the back of the jersey?  No

    Does my child need a ball?  A ball is not required however each coach is only supplied       with a few team balls.  If you would like your child to have his/her own ball you may supply     one. Ages 4-6 use ball size 3, Ages 7-10 use ball size 4, Ages 11-15 use ball size 5
